Rufus Gets A Makeover

I wasn't as happy with giving Rufus his color choice to begin with and after letting him "live" with it for awhile he finally agreed with me that it just didn't suit him like he thought it would.

Makeover it is then!

Here's a link to Rufus back then.

Introducing the new Rufus!
And a shot of his spiffy necklace too.

****************************************************************************

I do want to apologize for not updating for awhile. I have been busy with new stuff as well and my internet went out for several days. Just about the time I thought I would lose my sanity over not having my little electronic box in my life it got fixed...yay!!

Karl finally made his way to his new home

The colors managed to get a little washed out in these shots but he's a mix of that acid green I seem to be so fond of and it graduates down to a dusky purple shade.

I am most fond of his crown

He traveled all the way to Spain and I admit to becoming rather anxious that he would never arrive and become lost, much like the previous tag and inchies I sent that way.

I made another set of those and had Karl keep a close eye on them on the trip over.
I really like using old yellowed pages as a background for these and I love the way the text comes through when you use colored pencil over them.

My Chubby Little Houses

I had so much fun with my little houses and spent the better part of the day today taking pictures of them altogether and individually...whew!

Good thing it was nice outside, a little wind here and there but gorgeous nontheless!

I used parts of my old and yellowed copy of the Six Plays of Shakespeare for the house numbers and copy.

What a Difference A Week Makes

My lovely daffodils have been totally coming to life. They are such a happy flower.

I just love this time of year!

Ralphie says...No More Pictures Please!

It's a little fuzzy as Ralphie always ALWAYS knows when you are trying to get his "good" side.

Cherry Blossoms, from of all places, the dog park. I didn't have my camera with me so I snapped this one with my cell phone. Isn't technology amazing!
