I've listened to the rumours and heard how difficult it was to get one of these things and how fun they were to do and then I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and thought, "why not!"
Of course I wasn't the least bit prepared for putting in my picks...at all.
Took me over an hour and I kept changing stuff.
Bah! What was I thinking? I've avoided doing one of these for so many reasons and not being prepared is a biggie.
In the end I think it turned out wonderful and I'm very proud of it. Will I ever do another one? Eh, not so sure...but maybe...
AND after trying to get the actual page to show up here and trying to print a screen shot also and being highly unsuccessful at it I give up and just added it as a link...boo!
It really does look good, hehe.
Oh and as a total ps I had someone show me how to go about using a thumbnail catcher so my treasury is now permanent, wahoo.

Congrats on your first treasury! The trick is to wait and don't be tempted to refresh the screen...
patience is a virtue
To screen cap - go to your treasury, click Print Screen {PRT SCR button} open Paint and click Control and V together. Your treasury will pop into paint. Save as JPEG and you are done.
Easier than it sounds ;)*
Wow what a great treasury!! Hope you get to save it!!
Thanks for the fantastic info Tanya!!
Unfortunately my screen caturing skills managed to cut off the bottom row and I have no idea how to make it stop that, bah!
I don't suppose using Adobe Photoshop helps and I have no idea if I actually have paint.
I am sad...as in pathetic, hehe.
Thanks so much Terri!!
It is exciting to get a treasury and, for me at least, harder than you would think to pull a cohesive one together. You did a fabulous job.
Awww thanks thebeaddreamer. It is nice to know that I'm not alone in that department though.
