One day it is almost 80 degrees and then it drops to 60 and the winds start to howl.
Perfect example, yesterday was gorgeous. Not too hot and I was able to work outside without a jacket. Today, not so much. The winds are picking up and when I went outside to grab the mail I wondered if I shouldn't go back inside and grab my jacket first. It even looks a little like rain.
Hoping it clears up by morning. I'm wanting to have a yard sale. I've got tons of stuff that is just begging to go live someplace else!
I admit to having this very idea in my head for quite some time but just never got around to attempting to execute it. I found these little votive/candleholders at the thrift store and thought they would be perfect for Mr Bee. I also admit to being a little worried that my grand plan wouldn't come out nearly as great as it looked in my head.
I am very pleased. It turned out exactly the way I had hoped it would.
I call these typography eggs. There are 18 in this picture. 6 large ones and 12 smaller.
Three of the eggs have met with an unfortunate accident since this photo was taken. Apparently if you leave said eggs in a dish on the floor they are to be considered either dog food or strange toys. Either way, it wasn't pretty.
My attempt at becoming a hand model. I figured if George Costanza could do it so could I...hehe.
On the subject of George Costanza I found this hilarious montage of George-isms. Enjoy!

Love your little bee! and your eggs are pretty cool too! The George tribute was neat to see, amazing how many of those episodes I remember. Hope tomorrow is a better weather day for you!
Deb-bee: go see what surprise awaits you on my blog!
Your bee turned out beautifully!!! What a fabulous idea. I love your eggs too. The colors are yummy. Hope your First Friday is a huge success ... let me know how it went!
Oh that bee reminds me of a pig enjoying a mud hole! Too cute.
OMG, love those wonderful little eggs and your bee! Every time I see bees I remember this Scottish comedian who had this whole schtick about how much he hated bees...had to wear Depends when he launched into that segment.
Anyway, thanks for the George Constanza revival. Would you believe I remember everyone of those episodes...still watch it on cable.
Again, love your work!
Abrazos,
Georgina
Thanks for stopping by and the compliment on my yellow cabinet! I really need to get on finishing that piece as the lower drawers are still unpainted in my garage ;0) Blessings, Katy
